Fortnite eDPI calculator
— and sensitivity converter

eDPI is your mouse DPI times your in-game sensitivity. Two setups with the same eDPI turn the camera by the same amount for the same hand movement, so it is the number to compare and to keep when you change mouse or DPI.

How eDPI is calculated

eDPI = DPI × sensitivity ÷ 100, with the sensitivity as Fortnite shows it in percent. 800 DPI at 10 % is an eDPI of 80; 1,600 DPI at 5 % is 80 too, so both setups feel the same.

Formula as used by Corsair’s Fortnite eDPI calculator (read 14 October 2026). This page only does the arithmetic: it does not tell you what a good eDPI is, because there is no sourced range for that.

eDPI questions

What is eDPI in Fortnite?

eDPI (effective DPI) is your mouse DPI multiplied by your in-game X-axis sensitivity in percent, divided by 100. It lets you compare setups with different DPI: 800 DPI at 10 % and 1,600 DPI at 5 % are both eDPI 80.

How do I keep my sensitivity when I change DPI?

Keep the eDPI the same. New sensitivity = old sensitivity × old DPI ÷ new DPI. Going from 800 DPI at 10 % to 1,600 DPI means 5 %.

Does the Y-axis matter?

This calculator uses the X-axis. If your Y-axis is set to a different value, convert it the same way: multiply by old DPI, divide by new DPI.

What is a good eDPI for Fortnite?

We do not give a number: we have no sourced range, and the right value depends on your hand, your mousepad and how you build and edit. Compare against your own old setup, not a list.
