Source: Epic Games, Official Rules, Appendix A: FNCS Divisional Cups (10 March and 3 June 2026), FNCS Practice Cups (20 August 2026). The placement table is the same in all of them; we checked it against a Divisional Cup leaderboard on 26 September 2026. Epic can change any event’s rules, and your event’s rulebook always wins. FNCS Heats, Grand Finals, last-chance qualifiers, Cash Cups and other stages can score differently, for example with a fixed bonus for a Victory Royale.

Points questions

How do points work in Fortnite tournaments?

In FNCS Divisional and Practice Cups you get points for your placement in each match plus points for each elimination. 1st place is worth 65, 2nd 56, 3rd 52, 4th 48, 5th 44, 6th 40, then 2 points less per place down to 2 points for 25th. 26th and below score 0. Your session total is the sum over all matches.

How many points is a win worth in an FNCS cup?

A win is worth 65 placement points plus your elims. With 1 point per elim, a win is worth as much as 65 elims; with 4 points per elim, as much as about 16.

How many points is an elimination worth?

It depends on the event, per Epic’s official rules for EU and NAC: 0 in Division 5, 1 in Divisions 2 to 4, 2 in the Division 1 cup and 4 in the weekly Division 1 finals (part of the Divisional and Practice Cup rules). The placement table is the same in Divisional and Practice Cups.

How many points do I need to qualify?

There is no fixed number: the line depends on the cup and moves up while it runs. Take it from the live leaderboard, enter it as your target with the matches you have left, and the calculator tells you what you need per match.

Does this work for Heats, Grand Finals or Cash Cups?

Not as is. The calculator uses the placement table of FNCS Divisional and Practice Cups. FNCS Heats, Grand Finals, last-chance qualifiers and Cash Cups can use their own tables, for example a fixed bonus for a Victory Royale, so check that event’s rules before relying on the number.

Your total shows the points. Your replay shows what happened in each fight.
